It’s an established fact: I am a complete fangirl for things I enjoy. I’ve written far too many things for my fandoms. I ought to be using the time I spend on them for original stories I can actually publish. Ah well, it’s good practice. I hope all of those who are leaving the castle to celebrate the occasion with their friends and family have a safe and swift journey and a relaxing break.For those who have elected to remain at Hogwarts, there are a variety of festive activities scheduled:
Christmas Eve
- Professor Binns’ Annual History of Holiday Celebrations at Hogwarts Lecture 7 a.m.
- Sir Nicholas De Mimsy Porpington’s International Poetry Reading in the Great Hall 1 p.m.
- Professor Flitwick’s Encore Multi-colored Icicle Performance in the Great Hall 5 p.m
- Hogsmeade’s Festival of Spirits and Tales 9 a.m.—11p.m. (17 years of age and up. For a more complete schedule owl the Three Broomsticks)
Christmas Day
- Christmas Feast 12 p.m.
- Dance of the Mistletoe and Poinsettias choreographed by Professor Sprout and animated by Professor McGonagall 3 p.m.
- Singing Suits of Armor Concert conducted by Professor Flitwick 4 p.m.
- Hogsmeade’s Festival of Spirits and Tales 9 a.m.—11p.m. (17 years of age and up. For a more complete schedule owl the Three Broomsticks)
I’d also like to remind everyone it is not acceptable to teach the singing suits of armors alternate lyrics to their approved repertoire of songs.
