- Olivia, what did you see?

- I was with another man…I’ve never seen him before. He was downstairs. I don’t know who he was, And yet my vision…I had all these intense feelings for him.

. THE HUNTER AND THE PIRATE KING .
↪ SPN Pirate!AU, loosely based on Pirates of the Caribbean

Dean Winchester’s job is to track down people who have gone missing, which is just fantastic because brother and best friend have vanished, seemingly overnight. His search takes him to the port city of Tortuga, where they were last seen the night the pirate Crowley raided the city. There, he crosses paths with Benny Lafitte, the self-proclaimed pirate king who seems to have plenty of secrets of his own and immediately takes an interest in Dean.

DEAN: How do I know this isn't a set-up? How do I know you ain't
gonna cut my throat in my sleep like you did your friend back there?
BENNY: He was my friend. Now you are. First rule of the Caribbean,
kid — you can't trust nobody.
DEAN: You just asked me to trust you.
BENNY: You see? You're getting it now.

They cut a deal: with his knowledge of the Caribbean and the pirates who frequent the area, Benny can help Dean find Sam and Cas. In exchange, Dean will use his connections as a hunter to protect Benny from Crowley and his crew — who, conveniently, want Benny dead.

Welcome to the Caribbean, love.

Jack was employed into service for the East India Trading Company and was given command of the Wicked Wench. However, after he set free a cargo of slaves, his employer, Cutler Beckett, had Jack branded as a pirate and the Wench set aflame and sunk. After failing to rescue the Wench, Sparrow struck a bargain with the ghostly captain of the Flying Dutchman, Davy Jones, to resurrect his beloved vessel. Jones returned the ship to Jack in near perfect condition except for the permanently charred hull. This prompted Jack to rename her the Black Pearl

I should also mention Steven Moffat wrote Coupling which starred Jack Davenort as the character Steve. And that’s how I can connect Doctor Who with Pirates of the Caribbean.
