Misha Collins, I don’t think I can love you more than I do right now.
You know what? I love the entire SPN cast but there’s something about Misha. He is like a little bit of everything and everyone you ever loved.
He is funny and over-confident but he can be shy, introverted and weird too. He is peaceful and he is loud and he talks too much to say nothing, and he tells you stories, the worst ones, the best of all and at the end, you can’t stop yourself from listening to his brutal, I’m-not-sure voice. You look at him sometimes and you know he is playing with your mind, he is acting all the time someone he is not, a character he created to protect himself from people like you, and sometimes, he is so pure, so true, that you just lose yourself between the one he is and the one he decides to show you. And he looks fresh and brand new but he has an old soul, he has been through too much, and he fell too hard, he get up too fast and he made you believe he is all fine but that’s not always true. He is so brave and so strong while he has fears, nightmares and his own Hell on Earth. And he loves what he knows too much, and he loves too hard people he doesn’t know at all -us. And so he trolls us whenever the fuck he wants to and he gives us opportunities and ideas and hopes. And he help us everyday without knowing it, or without believing it, at least. He is too good, and too and too and too everything. Finally, he is just a normal guy who does an amazing job and uses it to get to normal people, and to change them forever. And it makes him so much more than just an actor.
So yeah, there’s something about Misha.

There should be a film about Misha where he plays himself because no one can be as perfect as Misha Collins
Okay so I started crying at that description of Misha and it is because how utterly perfect and familiar it is to myself. The main reason I like acting is because I can become somebody else, somebody that is not me and sure everybody may not love me, the character I became is more likely to be hated than loved but it is a character all the same. It will slip too. I may not be as great a person as Misha is but one day I just hope I can be even a quarter of what he is because then I could die happy.
Misha Collins is somebody I look up to, he is a loving husband and father, an outstanding philanthropist, a breath taking actor, an all round amazing human being and somebody who is not afraid to admit he is damaged. Misha has these dark, serious moments and they are my favourite because well, they are me too and so many others he touches and sure, I haven’t been acquainted with him as much as I could have until recently but it was still enough time to see that Misha Collins is perfect, with all his imperfections, and that means there is hope left for me too.
I had tears in my eyes when I read the description of Misha and then there’s this comment and now I’m crying.

I think I’m always going to have to reblog this, because how often have we ever seen Dean actually happy?
Because people are around him, and they’re looking at the real Dean, the Dean who’s a warrior, and they’re not terrified, they’re not flinching away, they are SMILING AT HIM because in this context, someone who can fight the way he can, who knows the things he does, is VALUED.
And it’s his damn birthday. Dean got to be happy on his birthday.
Not to mention when he fought that day, he didn’t have to fight for his life. He could make the dumb mistakes like he did when he was a kid and not get hurt from it. He got to play.
