The Doctor always claims that his suit is bad luck. It might be, but at least he looks amazing while he wears it.

Rose: And what about you? What are you going to do next?
Doctor: Well… back to the TARDIS. Same old life.
Rose: On your own?

one of the best (and most dangerous) things about working at build-a-bear is getting to see all of the endless bear-making possibilities right in front of you every single day. basically, there were three specific things we sell that triggered me to make a david tennant/tenth doctor bear:
1. heartbeats. this time lord bear is anatomically correct on the inside. nestled among all of the stuffing are two hearts which actually beat when you press them- or really, anytime you hug his tummy. if you time it just right, you can get them into the perfect four-drumbeat rhythm we all know so well.
2. high-tops. we sell so many of these every day that it was basically hitting me in the face every time someone bought a bear with these on. i’m also planning on running out to the craft store this weekend and buying a red fabric marker so i can make them the right color. ;]
3. brown coat. the funny story about this is that his signature brown long coat is actually a piece of the jedi outfit we sell, but modified with the little hood cut and trimmed into a collar.
so for the past month or so at the store, i’ve essentially been piecing him together in my head, and today i finally bought all the bits and did it. i even made him little 3D glasses, and a little hand-drawn mini sonic screwdriver. he now stands proudly displayed on my windowsil, and i’m so happy with him.
my next project may or may not be a bear-sized TARDIS to go with him. :D <3](http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lqxkw1aspp1qzyqkgo1_500.png)

HERMIONE GRANGER AS THE TENTH DOCTOR’S COMPANION
“Well, Miss Granger, it seems you really are as brilliant as they say.”
“Nothing on you, Doctor.”
