Don’t shame people for not knowing how to do something you think is common knowledge.
The reason someone doesn’t know something is simply that they were never taught it. It does not mean they are less intelligent than you, It means that no one ever took the time to teach it to them. You got lucky that someone taught it to you or else you wouldn’t know it either. So stop.
My favorite thing about tumblr is following peoples personal storylines. Like when somebody I follow finally goes on a date with the person they like or comes out to their best friend or finishes a huge homework assignment I am literally on the couch pumping my fist and being really happy for them
we have literally created our own dialogue? language? here on tumblr and i think that is the most amazing thing ever
please disregard my shitty editing skills

Community is like Tumblr: the show.
She’s fourteen, and she already feels like shit for being born white and cis.
this makes me sad more than anything. The fact that people feel guilty for existing is sad.
oh poor white cis people
grow the fuck up; this site is one of the only places where minorities can vent and stupid cis people are offended
No, here’s the fucking thing. This site isn’t for one group of people. It’s a fucking blogging site. For EVERYONE. You tell people not to be ashamed of what they fucking are, but only of its what you want? That’s pretty fucking disgusting. If you want equality, you don’t preach hate, because hate breeds more hate. That 14 year old isn’t your oppressor. She has done nothing wrong to be forced to hate herself, and to hate what she was born in. Grow the fuck up.

my health teacher has a sign in her room that says ‘if you cant handle the word vagina, then you shouldnt have your penis in one’
i wonder if my health teacher knows that shes tumblr famous
i wish tumblr had more of a “educate the ignorant” attitude as opposed to “send death threats to the ignorant”
Yo its’ okay if you’re a white girl who likes Uggs and spray tans and pop music and instagramming your Starbucks. Don’t let tumblr make you think for one minute that liking things like that makes you inferior.
Same goes for if you’re a hipster trans mexican/japanese Pizza Underground enthusiast with a hello kitty neck tattoo.
If you’re not hurting anyone, you be you. There’s nothing wrong with that.
It never has.
This is a concept most of tumblr can’t wrap their head around.
I cannot stress this enough.

REBLOG THIS IF YOU AREN’T HOMOPHOBIC
I’m putting the usernames in a notebook to give to my family when I finally come out to them. They told me once when I was little that if I ever came out to be gay to not tell anyone because they thought I’d be judged so please reblog so I can show them that people in my generation are different than theirs.
I’m not coming out until I fill the notebook. So if you want to help?

This post is me acknowledging that some people go onto tumblr to escape the real world and to soothe themselves after stressful experiences, so if they block or ignore social justice and news stories so that their decompression isn’t interrupted with yet more stress, it is not only no one’s business but it makes perfect sense.
Never judge people for not reblogging something.
This has to be one of my favorite post on tumblr.
wow this is so clever
i want more of this

I like how literally everything on Tumblr is an argument except three things.
The Holy Trinity of Queens
HERE LET ME FIX THIS
I wonder if Hogwarts kids ever did presentations.
Harry and Ron would totally pair up every time and you know they would end their presentations with “so…yeah.”
And Lee Jordan would go all out and McGonagall would take points for going over time and potentially deviating from the assigned Transfiguration topic. >.>
